Whether you’re a staunch remainer or avid Brexiteer, there’s no denying that the uncertainty around when the UK will leave the EU, and the terms under which it may happen, is causing property market jitters. Parliament rejected Theresa May’s proposed withdrawal agreement by 344 votes to 286. This followed hot on the heels of its rejection of eight alternative Brexit proposals. As it stands, EU leaders have given the UK until 12 April to exit with no deal or propose another solution. If Mrs May’s deal does eventually win over MPs, Brexit will take place on 22 May.
